Topix.net

The best an easiest search engine for me was the Topix.net. It reminds me of google which is the state of the art one for me. All you do is put in a topic and it brings up whatever you want. I typed in Offbeat stories and that was pretty interesting. It brings up things that are going on in the place where I live. (Sort of like talking over the backyard fence for computer geeks).
